QUIET STREAMS is an offshoot of my original blog called cONTEMPORARY mUSINGS which can still be found at http://contemporarymusings.wordpress.com .  I felt that cONTEMPORARY mUSINGS was best suited for the lighter side of my “talents” (I use that term loosely) and would confuse readers if one day they read a posting about “Elongated Ear Canals” and the next day about how much God loves us.  QUIET STREAMS gets its name from the twenty-third Psalm in which the writer tells us how the Lord, our Shepherd, leads us beside still waters and better reflects the holiness of the scripture without being tarnished by the nonsense of my semi-demented brain.

It is my sincere hope that you will find the postings comforting, informative, educational, inspiring and whatever else God intended His Word to be.  Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you will visit often.
